The Sustainable Weigh was a physical shop in Caernarfon for nearly four years.

But all good things come to an end and we moved to a 100% online sales system from the 6th of September 2023.

Why did you make this change?

After a lot of though and planning we've concluded that this is the best way of reaching as many people as possible. By moving to online only we are better able to keep our costs down and prices as low as possible. That means shopping in a more sustainable fashion is accessible to as many people as possible. 

​

Was that the only reason?

It was the biggest reason, we're not serving our mission if we become a middle class luxury few can afford. But, it's also true that we want to rebalance our working week a little to allow room for other projects which contribute to having the biggest impact we can on the things we believe are important. They include growing more food ourselves for the online shop and continuing our education and personal development.

What do I need to do to keep shopping with you?

You can find out more about that here. If you get liquid refills from us you'll need to swap your bottle over to our standard size options so that we can deliver to you and pick up the empty bottles in return. Find out more about that here.
